Role

John Sykes is the Fund Controller, responsible for delivery of fund financial services such as accounting, investor reporting and treasury management. John is a seasoned fund administration professional, with of hands‑on industry experience.

Experience

Before joining SIH, John was an Associate Fund Controller at Carta, a leading fund administrator specializing in venture capital. John led a fund accounting team that managed a variety of unique fund structures, ensuring real-time accuracy and reflection of accounting data for all clients. Prior to that, he served as an Associate Vice President at Rimrock Capital Management, a fixed-income hedge fund, responsible for all fund accounting and operational tasks.

Education

John Received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
